The first year of college was the worst experience ever because of COVID. I tried to go to the college financial aid office and workshops for help and it always let me down. It was super difficult to find any resources, I felt like I didn't even know anything about the school and I needed help.

I remember hearing about uAspire through my high school. So, I texted an advisor and they helped me get my FAFSA done on the last day to register for classes.

"Working with my uAspire advisor made me more motivated. I was put in a position where I wouldn't succeed and my advisors helped me change that."
Whenever I would text my uAspire advisors, they were always available. If there was a question they couldn't answer they would help me find someone who could. Receiving help from them was never a letdown. It was very helpful.

At one point my college said that I owed $10,000. It would stress me out so bad my stomach hurt, but my advisor, Camille, helped me apply for a grant that paid off my balance, which was great. They were also able to help me with other things outside of financial support, like my transfer. My advisor sent me different forms that I had to do and showed me how to start the process.

Working with my uAspire advisor made me more motivated. I was like put in a position where I wouldn't succeed and my advisors help me change that.
