Business Development Specialist

As the business development specialist, Shelbe is responsible for the implementation and improvement of business development processes. She also cultivates and fosters strategic partnerships that will further progress uAspire’s mission. Prior to joining uAspire, Shelbe spent close to a decade in the project management field solving problems, planning large-scale moves, and assisting in project planning and implementation. Her experiences within the tech, healthcare, and finance sectors encouraged her to expand her business knowledge and to pursue an MBA. Shelbe studied Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology at Sacramento State University, and completed her Masters in Business Administration at California State University, Monterey Bay. She currently resides in California.

Why uAspire?

As a first-generation college student, I strongly identify with uAspire’s mission to provide pathways to financial aid for those who would like to pursue post-secondary education. I understand and value the impact that such knowledge has for students and how it can provide greater outcomes for families long-term. With little access to resources to help guide me through my post-secondary education experience, I want to ensure that all students have access to what they need to succeed.
