Nick is a Project Based Advisor at uAspire. He oversees mulitple virtual help desks assisting college and highschool students with their financial aid forms through text and Zoom appointments, and also co-hosts educational walkthrough presentations about financial aid for our partner organizations. Public service is important to me, and I thoroughly enjoyed getting the chance to work closely in communities across the country and advocating for them through my previous work as a campaign organizer to fight inequality. However, uAspire has given me the opportunity to focus specifically on providing access to education and financial aid among students who may need assistance due to these inequitable structural barriers. It has been a very rewarding experience getting to assist these students in gaining access to their financial aid, and continuing on their college journeys.
