Emily Wolfson

Director of Internal Training and Design

As the Director of Internal Training and Design, Emily plays a critical role in managing and facilitating uAspire's suite of college affordability trainings for new advisors and other staff members.  Apart from training, she also is a thought partner for advisors, providing technical support as they navigate diverse student situations related to financial aid.

Before starting at uAspire in 2017 as the Manager of Internal Training and Design, Emily began her work as a college advisor with the East Bay Consortium where she assisted high school seniors with the college-going process. She later served as a Summer Fellow with the Richmond Promise, where she supported scholarship recipients by creating student resources and facilitating workshops on financial aid. Emily holds a Bachelor's degree in Urban Studies and a minor in Education from the University of California, Berkeley.

Why uAspire?

I chose uAspire because I strongly believe that higher education should be accessible and affordable for every student. I am inspired to work for an organization that influences college affordability on multiple levels, from reshaping financial aid systems to supporting individual students as they navigate challenging processes.
