As the Director of Training and Technical Assistance (T&TA), Yue oversees the implementation and growth of uAspire's college affordability training program for partner organizations across the country. Prior to joining the training team, he was a Senior College Affordability Advisor advising students in Boston Public Schools through the college financial aid process. Before joining uAspire, he served as a City Year AmeriCorps member where he tutored and mentored seventh and eighth graders to promote academic and social-emotional success. Yue graduated from Framingham State University where he majored in Sociology and minored in Diversity Studies. My personal experience as a first-generation college graduate drives my belief that every student deserves a post-secondary education regardless of their background, grades, or family situation. I was served by uAspire in high school and took full advantage of its resources and it has helped me obtain a higher education through an affordable pathway. I hope to pay it forward to the students that I will impact through this work.
