Molly Gilligan

College Affordability Advisor

Molly is a College Affordability Advisor based in Boston. In this role, she advises college students through the financial aid process. Molly graduated from Northeastern University with a degree in Communication Studies and Political Science. Prior to joining uAspire, Molly gained experience working in the education field through internships at City Year Boston and City on a Hill Charter Schools. Through the Northeastern University co-op program, Molly served as an ambassador to prospective Northeastern students in the College of Arts, Media, and Design.

Why uAspire?

I believe that college should be an affordable and accessible option for everyone. The many barriers we see in the financial aid process as well as elsewhere in the education system only contribute to the systems of oppression in our society. Supporting students through these processes and providing them with resources is an important step in dismantling those barriers and working towards true equity in our education system and beyond.
