She supports students and families with applying for financial aid and providing them with the necessary tools and resources to make a well-informed decision regarding college affordability. She is a college graduate of University of California, Davis with a B.A. in Sociology and a minor in Community Devlopment. Prior to joining uAspire, Madison worked as a Near-Peer Ambassador for the Richmond Promise where she assisted high school seniors with their financial aid process.

Why uAspire?

I chose to work at uAspire because as a first-generation college student and student of color, I have witnessed first-hand the struggles and hardships that come with navigating the college application process, including the financial aid system. I believe everyone regardless of race, class, or economic status deserves access to the resources and support to help make this process of applying for financial aid easier to approach. Having previously been a part of a college access program myself, I have experienced the positive impact it can have on students and hope to provide the same level of support for others.
