Kelly Tran

Training Specialist, New York

Kelly is the New York Training Specialist at uAspire. With a focus on New York state-based aid, she supports the delivery of in-person and webinar trainings, coaches partners, and supports the overall work of the Training and Technical Assistance team. Prior to joining uAspire, Kelly interned with the Customer Experience Team at eSpark Learning, an edtech company, where she assisted in developing and leading professional development opportunities to support teachers on their platform.

Kelly graduated with a B.A. in Sociology from Skidmore College and is pursuing her M.A. in Sociology & Education at Teachers College of Columbia University

Why uAspire?

As a first-generation college student, uAspire's mission is incredibly personal to me. I joined uAspire to empower both students and practitioners with the tools and knowledge to navigate the financial aid process. My hope is that uAspire can continue to open doors, break down barriers, and reimagine the systems that gatekeep higher education.
