Jasmine is a College Affordability Advisor in Boston. In this role, she advises and guides high school students and their families through the financial aid process.  Jasmine graduated from the University of Massachusetts Amherst with a B.A. in Sociology, with a minor in education. Prior to uAspire, she was a tutor for America Reads/Counts at Wildwood Elementary School in Amherst, MA.  As a graduate of Boston Public Schools, Jasmine is happy to give back to her community as a college affordability advisor.

Why uAspire?

I choose uAspire because I was one of the students we aim to serve. I know from first-hand experience the impact good advisors and mentors can have on youth. The financial aid process is daunting and I want to help students feel confident that they can not only apply to college, but afford, attend, and graduate college.
