Anika is Policy Director for Massachusetts. In this role, she leads the strategy and delivery of uAspire’s Massachusetts state-based policy agenda and systems change projects. Before joining uAspire, Anika was Research Manager for the Boston Private Industry Council (PIC), the city's workforce development board, where she researched and wrote college completion studies, as well as managed and analyzed student data to inform program design and policy for high school and college completion initiatives. In California, she served as Legislative Director for California Secretary of State Debra Bowen, and a California Executive Fellow. She holds a BA from Cornell University and an MPA from George Washington University.
