Why uAspire?

I am very passionate about equity in education. It has been very important for me to see youth realize their potential and achieve their post-secondary goals. Through my work experiences I have seen how college affordability is one of the major barriers for students. As a first-generation college student myself, I am well aware of the challenges my family faced when I first completed the FAFSA and sought out college affordability information. uAspire is doing amazing and unique work by supporting both students and their families through direct service and training and technical assistance. I am excited to play a part in uAspire's effort in helping students create an affordable pathway to college so they are empowered to achieve their own dreams and goals.
