Erica Rose

Senior Director of Programs, Massachusetts

Erica currently serves as uAspire’s Senior Director of Programs focused on high school advising across Massachusetts within the Afford Program. As a key connector between school partners and uAspire’s program directors, she is responsible for maintaining a high level of quality and service to more than 4,600 students through direct service college affordability advising in over 40 high schools. Erica began her career at uAspire as a college affordability advisor in Springfield, MA, and has grown into a more strategic leadership role over the years on the Massachusetts Leadership Team through the lens of programmatic quality and implementation.

Prior to joining uAspire, Erica was a school counselor intern in the Ludlow, MA, public school district, where her passion for social justice and equity in access to higher education was fully realized. She earned her BA in Psychology from Westfield State University and her MA in Psychology and Education/School Guidance Counseling from Westfield State University. Erica is also a graduate of the Leadership Institute for Political and Public Impact from the Women’s Fund of Western Massachusetts, class of 2014, and a very active volunteer with organizations such as the Community Foundation of Western MA, the Food Bank of Western MA, Rays of Hope, Springfield School Volunteers, and Healing Racism Institute of the Pioneer Valley.
