Erika Del Rosario
Advisor with the Afford Program
4 years at uAspire

On a daily basis, I meet with students one-on-one and have conversations about their financial aid plans for college and help them navigate that process, meet with parents to plan out how to pay for their student’s college bills, collaborate with guidance counselors and schools administrators to better reach students, as well as support other uAspire advisors through events.

I love working at uAspire because it feels like a family. I have grown so much personally and professionally in the 4 years that I have been here. I feel so spoiled to have grown so much at such an amazing organization!

Richard Albert
Advisor with the Afford Program
2 years at uAspire

In my role I hold one on one session with students from the Boston Public School system to help find an affordable path to college using FAFSA, and Scholarships. I was a recipient of the uAspire Last Dollar Scholarship in high school, and it is now my pleasure to to serve my community, and use my knowledge to provide similar opportunities to students with the same background. The culture at uAspire is truly one of a united family. We all are passionate and believe that the work we do, so it’s easy to show up and serve our students.

I chose uAspire not only because it is a great position, but it gives me the opportunity to truly impact Boston youth. Given that I come from similar circumstances as many of those I help, I can both assist with students’ transition to college and become a positive role model to many.
