Reduce “summer melt” by supporting students with the financial aid activities they must complete over the summer in order to matriculate in the fall. Advising students around these critical yet unclear summer tasks, from paying the fall bill to preparing for indirect college expenses, increases their ability to successfully transition to college.
You’ll be able to:
- Identify the steps students must take during the summer to matriculate
- Support students to navigate the college bill while identifying payment options and strategies to minimize the cost of attendance
- Identify opportunities for students to build self-advocacy skills
