Michelle Roman

Data Coordinator

Michelle is the Data Coordinator at uAspire. In this role, she supports the research and evaluation team with the raw data processing and data requests that uAspire and our research partners may need. Prior to joining uAspire, she worked with a local building automation company to fulfill their data processing and web design needs. Michelle received her BA in sociology and anthropology with double minors in Spanish and Russian language from Middlebury College.

Why uAspire?

I chose to work here because uAspire actively uses their knowledge and expertise to effect positive change for students on the individual, school district, state, and national level; a comprehensive model for systems change that I would like to learn from and contribute to. Our mission is also a personal one for me; as a first-generation college student, navigating the financial aid process was very difficult and without significant financial aid I wouldn’t have been able to afford a post-secondary education at all. My hope is that my work helps uAspire support low-income and first-generation students of color even more effectively.
