Leyshonna Reed

College Affordability Advisor

Leyshonna is a College Affordability Advisor at Durfee Highschool in Fall River, Massachusetts where she grew up and continues to reside. In this role, she works with high school students and their families to help navigate the financial aid process. Prior to uAspire, she worked as an assistant manager for White House Black Market for 4 years and was an Online Sales Manager for a Family owned Boutique for 3 years prior to her last role. Leyshonna attended The Fashion Institute of Technology in New York receiving her Associates Degree in Fashion Business Management.

Why uAspire?

I chose to work with uAspire because I know how difficult the financial aid process can be. As a first generation college student I have had the first hand experience navigating the process on my own and want to be a guiding hand for others. The mission at uAspire is important to me and I believe everyone deserves the opportunity to attend college.
