Jane Musser Nelson
Jane retired from Cambridge Associates, LLC, where she was a Managing Director and a member of the Credit Research Investment Committee. She was an investment consultant to educational institutions, cultural institutions, families as well as to pension plans. She was also an outsource chief investment officer to two institutions.
Prior to Cambridge Associates, Jane worked in investment management at Bain Credit, ING Capital and Eaton Vance Management from 1986 to 2010. During these years her responsibilities ranged from analyst to portfolio manager in the high-yield bank and bond departments. At ING Capital and Bain Capital, Jane was on the U.S. and European Investment Committees and the U.S. Investment Committee respectively. Jane began her career in 1980 working as a loan officer at Bankers Trust Company.
Jane is a member of the governor’s board at the Concord Museum. Jane received a Bachelor of Arts from Smith College and a Masters in Business from the Amos Tuck School of Business. Jane lives in Concord, MA, with her husband, Gordon, and their daughters.
