Emma Chavenson

College Affordability Advisor

Emma is a College Affordability Advisor uAspire. In this role, she has one-on-one college affordability advising sessions with students and facilitates financial aid workshops in high schools and community-based organizations. Prior to uAspire, Emma was a peer tutor for the AVID program at Cambridge Rindge and Latin School and participated in "The Girlhood Project" at Lesley University, which focused on girls' identity development in middle school.  Emma earned her BA in psychology and minored in communications from Lesley University.

Why uAspire?

No student should feel limited by finances when it comes to the college selection process. Making college affordable can be daunting, which can make going to college seem impossible. With uAspire's model of success, students- no matter where they come from or what their incomes are, have the opportunity to thrive in a postsecondary education. I am so incredibly fortunate to work for an organization that strives to make college financially obtainable to students.
