College Affordability Advisor

Destiny is a College Affordability Advisor on the NY Succeed team, primarily supporting current college students in navigating the complex financial aid process as well as anything pertaining to their post-secondary journey. Prior to joining uAspire she served as an NYC Civic Corps member with Breakthrough NY where she helped further develop the college coach mentoring program for their college students. Destiny graduated from SUNY Potsdam with a B.A. in Spanish & Anthropology. During her time at Potsdam she also worked in the Career Services office as a Peer Mentor and the Admissions Office as a Student Ambassador.

The college landscape in our country is wildly complex and college affordability is something many students are left to navigate on their own. I wanted to be a part of an organization that puts students at the forefront of their work and that reminds students they are not alone in this process.
