Bernadette Astacio

Director of Internal Training

As Director of Internal Training, Bernadette plays an integral role in training and preparing uAspire college affordability advisors to work with high school and college students, and deliver high quality advising services.  Having served as a college affordability advisor herself for three years, she is excited to be involved in training and supporting new advisors as they guide students through the college financial aid process.  Before joining uAspire, Bernadette was as an academic advisor at the University of Connecticut where she advised undergraduates pursuing minors in international studies. After graduating summa cum laude from American International College with a BS in international business, she went on to earn an MA in international studies at the University of Connecticut.
