The Chief People and Equity Officer leads uAspire’s People and Equity Department. The CPEO is responsible for advancing uAspire’s people and equity strategies, driving the culture of the organization toward accountability, transparency and equity.
Ayeesha has over 30 years of experience in the nonprofit sector. Ayeesha has wide-range experience in network and community building, organizational development, nonprofit management, facilitation and training, all through an anti-racist lens.
Before joining uAspire, Ayeesha was the program director of the Inclusion Initiative, and, under her leadership, this initiative restructured its programmatic priorities to support community-led, cross-sectored networks in Massachusetts and Rhode Island to build relationships and networks that will allow them to break down the pillars of poverty and inequality. Ayeesha is a graduate of Mount Ida College with a degree in marketing.
